Establishment of the

“Kimono OMOTENASHI Project”

Purpose

For the past four years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and in the coming five years, by deepening the bond of KIZUNA through the Japanese Culture, this project is for everyone to “see with your own eyes” and “feel with your own heart” to have hands on experience of wonderful Japan, with the three key-words of “Japanese Culture” “Sincerity” and “Kindness”.

Towards the year 2020, our foundation has started the “Kimono OMOTENASHI Project” by cooperating with other Kimono schools throughout Japan and other various organizations and individuals to:

  1. Teach the sincerity and the culture of Japan
  2. Deepen the relationship within each family and community
  3. Learn the true richness of Japan

We will plan and promote the Kimono events, and advise on learning and volunteering.

Many organizations have started various projects towards 2020.

We hope many organizations, which have not had a chance before, will promote the activities of Harmonious Japan.
